Despite her injuries and limited income, she remained incredibly proactive in managing her health, even paying out-of-pocket for specialized care when local assistance programs fell short. But the rising costs became overwhelming.

Just recently, Shoulder to Shoulder was able to step in and cover the cost of a critical dental procedure to repair her jaw—improving her health, reducing her pain, and easing the financial burden of ongoing treatments.
